Most Wickets in ODI

Leading wicket taker in one day internationals (ODIs) is Sri Lankan Muttiah Muralitharan. As of March 2013, he has the highest aggregate with 534 wickets, and also achieved 10 five-wicket hauls.
Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram become the first bolwers reached 300 one day wickets in October 1996. He was also the first player to reach 400 and 500 wicket feats.
Sri Lankan all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya and Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi are the only players to have scored more than 8,000 runs and 300+ wickets in ODIs.
