The Bangladesh cricket team toured to Sri Lanka in April and May 2021 to play two Test matches.The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019-21 ICC World Test Championship.
Originally, a three-Test tour was scheduled to take place in July and August 2020. But in September was postponed agaiin after Sri Lanka's health authorities insisted that the touring team needed to spend 14 days in quarantine, to which neither the Bangladesh Cricket Board nor the Bangladesh players agreed.
Sri Lanka won the 2-match series by 1-0.
