The 2017-18 Nidahas Trophy was a cricket tournament that was held in Sri Lanka from 6-18 March 2018. It was a tri-series between Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.
Each team played each other twice in group stage. The tournament was played to celebrate Sri Lanka's 70th year of independence and called the Nidahas Trophy 2018.
All games have played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India beat Bangladesh in the final by four wickets. India need five runs on last and Dinesh Karthik hits a six over cover.
First Nidahas Trophy played in 1988 between Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand. This series also win by India beat Sri Lanka by six runs in the final.
This was the first occasion that Discovery Networks Asia Pacific channel DSport has acquired media rights to broadcast live cricket matches involving the Indian cricket team.
