The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy will be contested by eight top ranked teams that which are seeded and divided into two groups. Each team play every other team in its group once. It will be the seventh and final ICC Champions Trophy. The 2013 Champions Trohpy points tally also highlights the standing, run rate, wins and loss of each Test playing in the World second largest tournament.
Eight teams compete in 15 matches from June 6-23, 2013. Top four teams qualify for the Semi-finals.
Points are awarded in the group stage as follows:
Win : 2 points,
No result or Tie: 1 point
Loss : 0 points
