The third Airtel Champions League Twenty20 points table provides the latest updated information on total points of various CL T20 teams after every match. The Champions League 20/20, 2012 points tally also highlights the standing, run rate, wins and loss of each team playing in the fourth Twenty20 Champions League 2012-2013.
The tournament feature a qualifying stage, introduced in the 2011 edition. As with all previous editions, the tournament format was changed: only two teams qualify from the qualifying stage to the group stage.
Six teams participate in the qualifying stage. Qualifying stage teams divided into two groups ie. Hampshire Royals, Auckland Aces and Sialkot Stallions in Pool 'A' while Yorkshire Carnegie, Uva Next and Trinidad and Tobago Pool 'B'. Two teams advance to the group stage to join eight direct entrants.
The top four teams from the group stage advance to the knockout stage.

In case of a tie in all stages of the tournament, a Super Over decides the winner.
