The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019-21 ICC World Test Championship and the ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020-23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
Bangladesh won 3-match ODI series by 3-0 while West Indies won 2-match Test series by 2-0.
