The Australia cricket team toured Bangladesh in August and September 2017 to play two Test matches. Australia were supposed to tour Bangladesh in 2015 but after advice from the Federal Government, Cricket Australia announced the tour had been postponed due to security concerns.
However, one day before the scheudled start of the match, it was called off, because of the waterlogging. Bangladesh won the first Test by 20 runs, their first ever victory against Australia in a Test match. Australia won second and final Test with in four days by seven wickets. And 2-match series drawn 1-1.
