New Delhi: A confident Victoria Bushrangers will look to assuring their place among the Super Eight teams when they take on Wayamba Eleven in the Champions League Twenty20 cricket at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium on Tuesday.
Both teams have had a taste of low and slow track. But while Bushrangers are upbeat after defeating favourites Delhi Daredevils, Wayamba were scuppered in their opening match by Daredevils Sunday night.
Delhi's win has put them and Bushrangers almost through to the next stage, unless the Sri Lankans inflict a massive defeat on the Bushrangers.
Victoria said they will field their strongest side against the Sri Lankan outfit.
"At this stage we'll just play our best side and try to give them some momentum going in to, hopefully, other matches," Victoria coach Greg Shipperd said.
"I still think we've got greater expectations than just one win this tournament. We would be very disappointed not to move through to the next round. One win is certainly not good enough for us."
