Johannesburg: With the dispute between Cricket South Africa and Gauteng Cricket Board resolved, the Wanderers stadium will once again host international matches, starting with three games during England's tour to South Africa later this year.
"CSA agrees to reinstate all the England tour games for the forthcoming tour in November, December and January," the CSA and GCB said in a joint statement.
The GCB had accused CSA of mismanaging the Indian Premier League held in South Africa in April-May.
The GCB had criticised CSA chief executive Gerald Majola, the BCCI and the tournament organisers, which resulted in CSA stripping Wanderers of all international matches.
Gauteng requested sports minister Makhenkesi Stofile to intervene and the two sides agreed to mediation last month and it has finally produced results.
"Cricket is an asset of South Africa - it does not belong to CSA or GCB," Stofile said after the dispute's resolution.
"Neither CSA nor GCB are the winners in this settlement - South Africa is the winner."
CSA president Mtutuzeli Nyoka said he was relieved that the dispute is finally resolved.
"Things got out of hand. I'm very relieved we have managed to undo the damage that was done. They were always aware that their hosting of the three matches depended on the outcome of the mediation process," Nyoka said.
