Dubai: On Tuesday, Javagal Srinath of ICC Elite Panel was named as match referee for the West Indies tour of New Zealand starting at Dunedin from December 11.
Apart from Srinath, the other Indian to feature in the series is Amiesh Saheba, who has been named as the on-field umpire alongwith South Africa's Rudi Koertzen and Mark Benson of England for the two Test matches.
The five ODIs, however, will be officiated by Benson alongwith a local appointment. The first ODI will be played on December 31 at Queenstown as a last ODI of the year.

The ICC also decided to carry on the ongoing trials of the umpire decision review system in the upcoming Test series between New Zealand and the West Indies.
