Dubai: The tournament schedule of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2012 to be held in Queensland from August 11-26 is all set to be announced in Brisbane on Monday.
The event will be attended by Angelo Mathews, who was a member of the Sri Lanka side in the ICC U-19 CWC 2004 in Bangladesh, David Warner, who represented Australia in the ICC U19 CWC 2006 in Sri Lanka, and India's Virat Kohli, who lifted the ICC U19 CWC 2008 trophy in Malaysia.
Australia's Ryan Harris will also be in attendance as Queensland prepares to host this prestigious global cricket event.
Australia will defend the title they won in New Zealand two years ago when they defeated Pakistan in the final by 25 runs.
Along with ICC's 10 Full members, the mega event will see six qualifiers -- Namibia (from the Africa Region), Afghanistan and Nepal (from the Asia Region), Papua New Guinea (from the East Asia-Pacific Region) and Ireland and Scotland (from the Europe Region) - taking part.
