New Delhi: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is the latest to congratulate India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his wedding to childhood friend Sakshi Singh Rawat.
"How r u guys, my heartiest congratulations to Dhoni," Tendulkar wrote on his twitter page.
Dhoni tied the nuptial knot with Sakshi yesterday at the picturesque Vishranti Resorts at Bidhauli, about 25 kms from Dehradun, at a closely-guarded private ceremony which was attended only by close relatives and friends.
Tendulkar is the latest in a string of celebrities to wish the couple a blissful life on their wedding.
Earlier, Bollywood actresses Bipasha Basu and Shilpa Shetty, legendary playback singer Asha Bhonsle and Dhoni's teammate Yuvraj Singh all came together on Twitter to wish the 28-year-old wicket-keeper batsman and Sakshi on their wedding.
Dhoni got engaged to Sakshi, a 23-year-old hotel management student, at a private ceremony on Saturday.
The wedding was originally scheduled for October but was preponed considering Indian cricket team's tight schedule in the next few months.
Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma were among Dhoni's cricketer friends who were present at the wedding.
Owner of Chennai Super Kings, which was skippered by Dhoni in the IPL, and BCCI Secretary N Srinivasan was also present at the ceremony.
The wedding at the luxury resort had its share of glamour as Bollywood actor and Dhoni's close friend John Abraham and director-choreographer Farah Khan also graced the occasion.
