Pallekele: Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bowl in the third and final Test against Pakistan at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Opening batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan was left out to be with his ill children and was replaced by Dinesh Chandimal. Fast bowlers Dilhara Fernando and Thisara Perera replaced Suraj Randhiv and Nuwan Pardeep.
Pakistan also made two changes with Mohammad Sami and Umar Gul replacing Abdur Rehman and Aizaz Cheema.
Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0 after winning the first Test by 209 runs at Galle. The second Test ended in a draw at Sinhalese Sports Club's flat wicket last week.
Sri Lanka are looking for their first series victory since beating New Zealand at home in 2009.
