Dhaka: Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and chose to bowl against India in the second match of the Asia Cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
India have selected Ravindra Jadeja ahead of Yusuf Pathan and Sri Lanka have replaced Lasith Malinga, who was thrashed by Virat Kohli at Hobart, with Suranga Lakmal.
Sri Lanka are going into this tournament without any practice, but they have seen enough of India to know how to handle the Men in Blue.
Of course, the Hobart thrashing, the last time these two teams played, will be vivid in their minds. That was probably the only game of the triseries Down Under where Mahela Jayawardene's boys were beaten fair and square and the Sri Lankans would like to ensure that nothing of that sort happens.
Teams:
India: MS Dhoni (captain & wk), Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, R Vinay Kumar.
