Kozhikode: Pacer S Sreesanth has recovered from his knee injury suffered during India's tour of Sri Lanka in July and will play for Kerala team in the Moin-ud-Dowla cricket tournament to be held in Hyderabad from September 14.
Sreesanth had informed that he will join the Kerala team on September 14 in Hyderabad, KCA sources said on Tuesday.
Kerala team led by Raiphy vincent Gomez had left for Hyderabad on September 6.
Sreesanth had been at loggerheads with the Kerala Cricket Association since he was dropped from captaincy of the team in July and had even indicated he might play for some other state.
Expressing happiness over his decision, KCA Secretary TC Mathew said 'Sreesanth is free to play for the state. He is our boy'.
