Bangalore: Ex India's captain Sourav Ganguly has announced his retirement from the international cricket, said on Tuesday. He added that, "I have spoken to my teammates and hopefully I will go out on a winning note."
Ganguly said he would be retiring from the game at the end of the India-Australia Test series, which begins in Bangalore on Thursday. In a press conference in Bangalore, Sourav announced his retirement in front of a room full of shocked journalists. Dada informed that the current four match series against the Australians will be his last.
Bengal tiger start his Test career in Lords with century. Sourav played 109 Test and hit 15 hundreds and 34 fifties and his best in Test match is 239 against Pakistan at Bangalore last year.
