Sourav Ganguly 7000 Runs In Test Cricket

Mohali: While the cricketing fraterning  celebrated Sachin Tendulkar's most run feat, Sourav Ganguly quietly moved past a milestone when he became the fourth Indian batsman to cross 7000 runs in Test cricket.

The left-hander former skipper, set to retire after the four-match Test series against ODI champions Australia, went past the scored 40 during the first day of second Test in Mohali.

Ganguly took 111 Test to achieve this feet. the otehr three members of the 7000 club are Tendulkar, Gavaskar and Dravid.
