Mumbai: Former India pacers Balwinder Sandhu and Karsan Ghavri, who had been with the Indian Cricket League, will be looking after BCCI's specialised coaching centre for fast bowlers in Mohali.
The board had planned three academies in Mumbai, Mohali and Chennai.
Mumbai will be looked after by former India player Lalchand Rajput and Bhaskar Pillay.
Former leg-spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan and Diwikar Vasu will look after spin bowling, while Sameer Dighe and Vijay Yadav will head wicketkeeping.
The academy is likely to start by May this year.
