Dubai: Kemar Roach achieved a career-best ranking of 18th position after producing a MoM performance in the second Test against Australia which ended in a draw on Friday, ICC said in a statement.
Roach recorded figures of 27-5-105-5 and 18-4-41-5 which not only won him the man of the match award but also earned him a jump of 16 places to put him in 18th position.
Sachin Tendulkar held on to the joint 12th spot to be the highest-ranked Indian batsman in the latest ICC Test rankings.
In the bowling list, pacer Zaheer Khan is the highest-ranked Indian in the list at the 12th spot.
