Karachi: Pakistan all-rounder Rana Naved has filed an appeal against a one-year ban from the national tema and a fine of two million rupees ($23,500).
Pakistan Cricket Board last month punished Naved for poor performance during the team's woeful tour of Australia earlier this year.
Naved is the third player after Akmal brothers (Kamran and Umar) to file an appeal.
The PCB imposed bans and fines on seven players on the recommendations of an inquiry which investigated Pakistan's lopsided defeats in Australia.
