Kamran Khan bowled a splendid final over. It was 2 from 2 when Ganguly edged one to the keeper. Ishant strode in and looked to have won it for KKR with a firm drive, enter Warne again with a diving stop. Kamran Khan kept his nerve to relay the ball back to the keeper to run out Ishant.
Fast forward to the super over - Gayle blasted 15 off the super over from Kamran Khan. Then a major blunder by McCullum to give the ball to Mendis when Yusuf was on strike. Yusuf goes on and seals a terrific match with a couple of massive hits.

It was intense drama at Newlands with the match swinging either way - from the moment Rajasthan Royals lost two wickets in the first three overs, till Sourav Ganguly's dismissal with two runs required and one ball to go - as the excitement spilled over into the Super Over, the solution to a Twenty20 tie.
Earlier, Kolkata lost their captain Brendon McCullum (3) early to Dimitri Mascarenhas but Gayle set the stdaium ablaze with his stunning fireworks. Displaying brute power, the West Indian captain hit 4 sixes and 2 fours in his 33-ball 41. He was dismissed by Warne who had him caught at long off by Ravinder Jadeja.
Rajasthan Royals scored 150/6 in 20 overs. For Kolkata, Ajantha Mendis, Ishant Sharma and Anureet Singh took 2 wickets with Yusuf Pathan top scoring for the defending champions with a quickfire 42.
Abhishek Raut hit a four and 2 sixes in the last over by Anureet to take the Rajasthan total to the 150-run mark. Raut remained unbeaten on a 13-ball 21.
