Dubai: Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson was the big mover when the latest ICC ODI Player Rankings were released on Tuesday.
Johnson, who was the equal leading wicket-taker with Lasith Malinga in the recent ODI series against Sri Lanka, has jumped four places to claim third position after taking 11 scalps in the five matches.
Fresh off achieving his third ODI hat-trick, Malinga rose 19 positions up to 11th.
Doug Bollinger's nine wickets helped him return to the top 10 in seventh position, while Brett Lee's eight wickets took him up to 14th.
England spinner Grame Swann heads the list ahead of Kiwi Daniel Vettori.
In the batting rankings, captain Michael Clarke moved up two spots to seventh after scoring the most runs in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Shane Watson (third) and Ricky Ponting (15th) retained their positions, while Mike Hussey dropped three places down to eighth.
South Africa duo Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers continue to head the list.
There was no change in the all-rounder rankings with Watson still clear of Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan and Pakistan's Shahid Afridi.
Meanwhile, top-ranked Australia now has a comfortable 11-ratings-point lead over second-placed Sri Lanka thanks to their 3-2 series win.
England's status as the world's number one Test nation has been reflected in the latest Test ICC player rankings.
Ian Bell moved into third on the batting rankings, level with team-mate Alastair Cook with the pair joining Jonathan Trott (six) Kevin Pietersen (eight) in the top 10.
South African Jacques Kallis tops the batting standings, with Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara second.
Australia's flagging fortunes in the Test arena saw them without a representative in the top 10.
England's bowlers are also well represented, with six of them in the top 20, headed by seamer James Anderson in second place behind South Africa's Dale Steyn, while off-spinner Graeme Swann moved to third.
South African quick Morne Morkel is in fourth place, with Stuart Broad in fifth to see three English men in the top five.
