Colombo: India gave a huge target of 364 runs to Srilankans. Virendra Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh both scored quick centuries. Sehwag playing a knock of 116 on 90 balls, Sehwag got run out on a brilliant throw from Murlitharan. Yuvraj scored 117 on 95 ballsand also took 1 wicket. Yuvraj was judged Man of the Match. Yousuf pathan also chipped in some quick runs, scoring 59 runs at 38 balls.
This is the 2nd consecutive ODI Series win by India. Earlier they won ODI Series against England. Sachin again had a bad day and he was declared dubiously out leg before wicket 3rd time in succession.
Srilanka didnt had a good start, it lost Jayasuriya on duck. Dilshan played some wonderful shots but Zaheer was too good for him and he got out on 30 runs. Sangakkara played good innings and scored 83 on 82 balls, Jayawardene gave some support but for a short period and scored 30 on 33 balls.
