New Delhi: The ICC has deferred taking a call of a plea for recognition from the Essel Group owned ICL, but asked BCCI president Shashank Manohar to 'hold discussions' with the rebel body, which has been shunned by the Indian board for last one-and half years.
World cricket's governing body, which received an application for approval from the ICL, met in Dubai on Tuesday where the board members "resolved to adjourn its considerations to allow discussion between BCCI president Shashank Manohar and ICL representatives." According to ICC, Manohar has agreed to provide the board with a full written report of the discussions in due course.
