London: Ryan Harris became the latest injured Australia bowler after he was ruled out of the remainder of the tour of England with a knee problem.
The 30-year-old seamer sustained the injury to his right knee at Lord's on Saturday where Australia beat England by 42 runs in the final one-day international, although the hosts took the series 3-2.
Harris is now set to return to Australia, with the tourists, who play Pakistan in two Twenty20 internationals at Edgbaston on Monday and Tuesday before taking on the same opponents in two Tests in England, now set to summon a replacement.
Australia physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said: "Ryan Harris injured his right knee during the fifth one-day international against England.
"He will take no further part in the Twenty20 or Test matches against Pakistan in England and will return to Australia for further assessment."
Australia arrived in the UK without injured quicks Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus while first choice keeper Brad Haddin was also sidelined.
They then lost Nathan Hauritz because of a foot problem although the off-spinner's injury proved something of a blessing in disguise as it allowed Australia to call up fast bowler Shaun Tait, already in Britain with Welsh county Glamorgan.
Tait's extreme pace helped Australia recover from 3-0 down in the one-day series against England and the South Australia quick took four wickets at Lord's on Saturday, with one of his deliveries timed at 100 mph (161 kph).
