The Intercontinental Cup squad has four changes from the team that beat Canada by 29 runs. Wicketkeeper Dougie Lockhart, in fine form in the national domestic league, replaces the injured Simon Smith while Gordon Goudie returns after a shoulder injury in place of Calum MacLeod, who picked up six wickets against Canada. Stewart Chalmers fills the allrounder position vacated by the injured Jan Stander and left-arm spinner Ross Lyons is picked ahead of leg-spinner Moneeb Iqbal.
Hamilton, who does not figure in the four-day team, returns to captain the ODI side. Dewald Nel, recovering from a broken finger, is named in the squad for the first time since the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in June.
The Intercontinental Cup match will held on August 17 while the two ODIs will be played on August 22 and 23. All three matches will be played at the Citylets Mannofield ground in Aberdeen.
