Karanchi: Pakistan's prolific middle-order batsman Mohamad Yusuf, after having missed out on an IPL offer, may rejooin the rebel Indian Cricket League after months of legal wrangling sources said.
The move, if it materialises, will end Yusuf's international career. Sources confirmed that Yusuf had conveyed to ICL organisers his willingness to consider joining them if they dropped compensation claims and other charges against him. ICL officials admitted that the negotiation process with Yousuf was on.
From Dhaka, Bangladesh's cricket officials have reacted with shock and anger on receiving the resignations of six national players, who hope to eary dollar two lacs each on playing the third edtion of the breakaway Indian Cricket League next month.
The six players - Habibul Bashar, Shahriar Nafees, Aftab Ahmed, Dhiman Ghos, Farhad Reza and Mosharraf Hossain, sent in their resignation from national and international cricket on Sunday.
