London: Eoin Morgan has been rewarded for his excellent one-day batting performances with an England incremental contract for 2009-10.
"Eoin has made excellent progress since making his England debut against West Indies last summer and is now an established member of our one-day and Twenty20 sides," said England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) managing director Hugh Morris.
"He has fully justified the faith the selectors have shown in him and has the potential to develop his game still further," Morris told the ECB website (www.ecb.co.uk) on Wednesday.
Morgan scored an unbeaten 110 to guide England to victory over Bangladesh in Dhaka on Tuesday, a win that gave them an unassailable 2-0 lead in the one-day series.
