London: England have called up Warwickshire seamer Chris Woakes to their squad ahead of the third one-day international against Australia in Birmingham on Wednesday.
Surrey pacemen Jade Dernbach, who played in Sunday's six-wicket win at The Oval that gave England a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, and Stuart Meaker will be unavailable for the Edgbaston as they will be attending the funeral of their former county colleague Tom Maynard on Wednesday.
Maynard died in an incident on a London Underground train track, at the age of just 23, last month. His funeral will take place in his native Wales.
Meaker was added to the England squad before Sunday's win as cover for the injured James Anderson, who was replaced by Dernbach as Steven Finn's new-ball partner.
England still hope Anderson will be fit after his groin injury for the remainder of the five-match series, but have added Woakes as a precaution for possible inclusion on his Edgbaston home ground where a win will give the hosts an unassailable 3-0 lead.
Sunday's win was England eighth successive one-day international victory.
If England sweep this series 5-0 they will replace Australia at the top of the 50-over world rankings.
