Sydney: The fall out has already begun following Australia's humiliating Ashes series defeat by England, with Michael Clarke retiring from Twenty20 internationals and critics calling for wholesale changes to the national set up.
England completed a 3-1 series win on Friday, inflicting an unprecedented third innings defeat in a series upon Australia.
Clarke, who was leading the team in the absence of injured skipper Ricky Ponting, quit Twenty20 international cricket even before England captain Andrew Strauss got his hands on the famous urn.
Clarke was captain of the Australia team which reached the Twenty20 World Cup final last year but conceded he'd never fully adapted to the shortest form of the international game.
