Dhaka: Injury-plagued Bangladesh have recalled pacers Syed Rasel and Dolar Mahmud to replace skipper Mashrafee Mortaza and Nazmul Hossain ahead of Friday's second one-day international against New Zealand.
Mortaza fell awkwardly attempting a delivery during their win in the first ODI while Nazmul cut his ring finger trying to stop a ball in the same match.
Mortaza, who sprained his ankle, is unlikely to take any further part in the five-match series while Nazmul needed three
stitches and is out for at least the next two ODIs (Oct. 8 and 110, said the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Fit-again Shafiul Islam and Rubel Hossain, who both missed the first ODI through injury, have also joined the squad.
