Bangalore: India off to brisk start after Michael Hussey hit ninth Test hundred. By the close, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir had made the visitors' 430 look a little less daunting and with a solid construction of their own reduced the deficit to 362. Zaheer Khan removes Brett Lee, Stuart Clark and Michael Hussey in quick succession. Australia is all out for 430 runs
An engrossing day's cricket, highlighted by a great hundred from Michael Hussey, his ninth in Tests and his second outside Australia, and some top pace bowling from Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan. Ishant took out three wickets and Zaheer followed up with a five-wicket haul.
Australia put up a very good total of 430 on a good batting track. India have chipped away 68 of those courtesy a solid opening stand. The Delhi boys, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, have looked good.
