Jaipur: The Australians wrapped up their acclimatisation stint here on Sunday with newer aces jason Krejza, Doug Bollinger and Peter Siddle helping run through a Rajasthan XI side in a double quick time on the second day of a rather flexible practice game.
Rookie off-spinner Jason Krejza (3/35) was among the wickets in the practice match but the Aussies will be under no illusions about his ability to trouble India's best. The other spinning option, leggie Bryce McGain, a veteran on the first class scene, largely missed out of the week's excitement due to a frozen shoulder.
On first day a sluggish, low pitch which opener Simon Katich - the highest scorer with 73 in a team total of 218 described as a "definite squatter", the likes of Matthew Hayden (16), Ricky Pointing (5), Clarke (2) and keeper Brad Haddin (21) as fell to 20 year old left-arm spinner Gajendra Singh, who ended five wickets.
Brief Score: Australians 218 (Katich 73, Gajendra Singh 5-58) drew with RCA Centre of Excellence 122 (Bollinger 3-9, Krejza 3-35)
