London: Play was called off on the third day of the 4th and final Test between South Africa and England after rain reduced Saturday's action to just 82 minutes before lunch. Lunch was taken early and with drizzle persisting and umpires called off play just before 5PM local time.
South Africa were 110/2 in their second innings, 12 runs behind England's first innings total of 316. In the morning, Hashim Amla completed a half century to steer South Africa close to level terms with England.
