Dubai: Pakistan will face Afghanistan for a three-match ODI series in August, with the matches set to be played in Sri Lanka.
The matches against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka will act as the preparation for Asia Cup and the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.
Pakistan will begin training in Sri Lanka on August 17 and the ODI series will start on August 22. The second match will be played on August 24, with the final match being played on August 26.
The first two matches of the series will be played in Hambantota, with the third ODI being played in Colombo.
Pakistan will begin their Asia Cup campaign against Nepal on August 30 in Multan, as they ramp up preparations for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, where they will open their campaign against Netherlands on October 6.
