Sri Lanka 202 for 5 (Karunaratne 59, Naseem 2-51) v Pakistan
Rawalpindi: Sri Lanka scored 202 for five on day one after a good start in first Test against Pakistan on Wednesday.
For Sri Lanka, captain Dimuth Karunaratne score 59 and opener Oshada Fernando contributed 40 runs.
Naseem Shah was the most successful bowler from Pakistan, he took two wickets
Sri Lanka made a modest start after winning the toss and opt to bat, scoring 96 runs without losing a wicket at one time.
But after lunch, the fast bowler made Pakistan return to the match. First, Shaheen Afridi broke the 96-run partnership by dismissing the Sri Lankan captain.
The second opener was out early in Fernando, he was dismissed by Naseem Shah.
For Pakistan Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Afridi and debutant Usman Shinwari picked up a wicket each. Abid Ali also debut for Pakistan.
