Mumbai: For a few months now, the fans were waiting eagerly waiting for the schedule of the Indian Premier League 12.
Finally, the IPL Governing Council has announced the schedule for the upcoming season which will kick start on March 23rd 2019.
However, the schedule is subject to change keeping in mind the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2019.
The opening game will be played between IPL 11 winners Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.
A total of 17 matches will be played during these two weeks across the 8 home venues of the respective franchises.
All teams will play a minimum of 4 matches with Delhi Capital and RCB playing five matches. Every team will play a minimum of two home away matches.
