Pakistan 168 for 2 (Imam 71, Fakhar 44) beat South Africa 164 (Amla 59, du Plessis 57, Shinwari 4-35, Afridi 2-24) by eight wickets
Johannesburg: Pakistan beat South Africa by eight wickets in the fourth one-day international at the Wanderers Stadium on Sunday:
Usman Khan led the Pakistan bowling attack as the visitors bowled out South Africa on 165. He picked up three wickets in the 38th over of the South African innings as the hosts lost the final six wickets for 24 runs.
After electing to field first, Pakistan got off to a brilliant start. The seamers took two quick wickets and restricted South Africa to 32/2 in the first 10 overs.
However, half-centuries by Faf du Plessis and Hashim Amla showed glimpses of South African fight-back, but after they were dismissed none of the South African batsmen could resist the Pakistan seam attack.
