Durban: South Africa have called up left-arm pacer Beuran Hendricks for the rest of the continuous One-Day International (ODI) arrangement against Pakistan alongside Dale Steyn and Quinton de Kock, who were refreshed for the initial two excursions.
The trio will come instead of pacers Duanne Olivier, Dane Paterson and wicket-guardian batsman Heinrich Klaasen.
Hendricks has played seven T20Is for South Africa where he has grabbed eight wickets, the remainder of which returned against Bangladesh in 2017.
Yet, his ongoing exhibitions in the four-day circuit just as the debut Mzansi Super League in the T20 organize, where he grabbed 12 wickets from nine recreations, is the thing that provoked the selectors to give him another go.
Olivier, who won the Player of the Series grant in the previous Test arrangement and shimmered in the initial two ODIs too, has been offered a much-welcome reprieve while Kagiso Rabada too has been refreshed from the Twenty20 International arrangement that will pursue the ODIs.
The third ODI will be staged at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Friday (January 25).
