England and India set to play for in series decider at Leeds

Leeds: India take on England in the series-deciding third and final ODI match at Headingley, Leeds on Tuesday.

After India won the series opener at Nottingham, and England the second match at Lord’s, the series is level at 1-1.

After a thumping victory in the first ODI against England, India got a timely reminder why England are the number one side, as they lost the second ODI by 86 runs.

Victory in London confirmed England's spot as the No 1 ODI side in the ICC Rankings. A win for India at Headlingley will only help close the gap and hand them the bragging rights before the Test series begins on 1 August.

With the series now squared, it's all to play for when the two sides lock horns in the final game of the series in Leeds.

India have received a massive boost with swing king Bhuvneshwar Kumar declared fit to play the crucial series decider against England.

Bhuvi is likely to get a place in the XI, adding more venom to India's already impressing bowling attack.

India have Dinesh Karthik and Shreyas Iyer on the bench. The former has been in fine nick of late, while the latter has two half-centuries in his first six ODIs. Iyer also gave a good account of himself in Port Elizabeth batting at number five.

As for England, they have called James Vince to join the squad for the final game of the series.

With Joe Root back among runs and the remaining batsmen negotiating wrist spin to a greater degree, their only concern is the patchy form of all-rounder Ben Stokes.

Teams from

England:
Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball, Jos Buttler (wk), Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, David Willey, Mark Wood, James Vince

Pitch and conditions
The forecast looks promising but a slight cloud cover is expected, which would mean that the Headingley pitch could aid the seam bowlers and there will be something for the batsmen too.
