Dublin: The Indian cricket team has suffered a big blow ahead of the three-match T20I series against England.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out alongside spinner Washington Sundar.
The in-form pacer suffered a broken finger and is set to return home to recover from the injury.
Deepak Chahar will replace him for the T20s, but Bumrah is likely to be available for the ODI series against England that begins on July 12.
Meanwhile, Sundar twisted his ankle during a training session.
Apart from the T20Is, the pacer is also likely to miss the 3-match ODI series this month and that, in turn, is a big jolt to skipper Virat Kohli.
Bumrah will hope to be fit for the Test series, which starts from August 1.
He has been in tremendous form and picked 17 wickets in the IPL 2018, besides doing well against Ireland.
