Kabul: Chief selector Nowroz Mangal on Tuesday announced Afghanistan's team for first-ever bilateral series against West Indies scheduled to be played in June.
The tour will include three Twenty20 Internationals and three matches in one-day format.
It will mark Afghanistan's first full series against a Full Member nation other than Zimbabwe.
West Indies sit a place above 10th ranked Afghanistan on ICC's ODI list. They are champions of World T20, but their only defeat in 2016 campaign came against Afghanistan. The sides have never played an ODI against each other.
Afghanistan's squad for ODIs: Asghar Stanikzai (captain), Noor Ali Zadran, Javed Ahmadi, Usman Ghani, Rahmat Shah Zurmatai, Nasir Jamal, Mohammad Nabi, Samiullah Shinwari, Gulbuddin Naib, Rashid Khan, Shafiqullah Shafaq, Shapoor Zadran, Hamza Hotak, Dawlat Zadran, Afsar Zazai and Farid Malik.
