Colombo: Sri Lankan Batsmen Asela Gunaratne and Niroshan Dickwella have been named in the country's Test squad for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh which would be played at Galle beginning on March 7.
Gunaratne had smashed two match-winning fifties in the recent T20 series played in Australia, and also struck a maiden ODI hundred in South Africa earlier in the month.
However, team's wicket-keeper Kusal Perera and opener Kaushal Silva have been dropped from the squad owing to their poor form..
In the bowling department, Malinda Pushpakumara and Vikum Sanjaya, all have been included in the squad lead by Rangana Herath.
