Hyderabad: The two-day warm-up match between India A and Bangladesh, at the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad ended in a draw on Monday.
Bangladesh concluded their second innings on 73 for 2 on second day. Tamim Iqbal played well for his unbeaten 42.
Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav however caused a bit of panic after he removed Soumya Sarkar for 25 and Mominul Haque on the very next delivery. However, Mahmudullah and Tamim played out the rest of the overs safely.
Earlier, India A, started on final day at 91 for 1, with Shreyas Iyer and Ranji Trophy 2016-17 top-scorer Priyank Panchal at the crease.
Iyer , who was batting on 29, made a brilliant century, which came of just 92 deliveries. He then immediately retired out, paving way for Ishank Jaggi. Like Panchal, he too retired out immediately after he got to his landmark.
Bangladesh however did bounce back briefly. They got the wickets of Jaggi, Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan in quick succession. But the 115-run stand for the eighth wicket between Vijay Shankar and Nitin Saini took the match away from the visitors.
Shankar turned it up a notch in the final session and scored a memorable 103 not out off just 81 deliveries, with 14 fours and 3 sixes punctuating his innings. For Bangladesh, it was medium pacer Subashis Roy and left-arm spinner Taijul Islam, who picked up 3 wickets apiece.
