Melbourne: South Africa will play two pink-ball tour matches in the lead-up to their day-night test against Australia in Adelaide on Nov. 24.
Cricket Australia said Wednesday that South Africa will meet a Cricket Australia XI in a day-night match at the Adelaide Oval on Oct. 22-23 and a two-day, day-night match against a Victorian XI the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Nov. 19-20, a week ahead of the pink-ball test at the Adelaide Oval.
South Africa's cricketers were originally against the use of a pink ball, which improves visibility at night tests, being incorporated in their tour but they changed their stance in June.
