Mong Kok: Former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Ryan Campbell has been named in Hong Kong's World Twenty20 squad at the age of 43.
And his inspiration is Perth Scorchers veteran Brad Hogg, who turns 45 next week.
Hong Kong yesterday included Campbell in their squad for the tournament, which starts from March 8 in India.
Campbell played two ODI games for Australia in 2002 and has been a part of Hong Kong's domestic set-up since 2012. He is the national team's current batting coach.
Coach Simon Cook said Campbell's experience would be vital in India, where Hong Kong meet Zimbabwe in their opening group game on March 8.
