Harare: Ambati Rayudu, who sustained an injury during the second ODI, has been ruled out of rest of the tour of Zimbabwe. He will be replaced by Sanju Samson.
The BCCI medical team has confirmed that Rayudu has been ruled out of the remaining part of the tour after he pulled his right quadriceps muscles during the match last night in Harare.
It is expected that he will be requiring at least two to three weeks of rehabilitation.
Uncapped Sanju Samson, 20, will be available for third and final ODI and the two subsequent Twenty20 matches.
India are 2-0 ahead in the three-match series, with the final ODI on Tuesday.
