Dubai: South Africa stay on top while Australia at second after annual update. India rise to No.4 in the latest ICC Test rankings after languishing at No.7 previously.
While they haven't played any Test cricket since their 2-0 defeat to Australia in the 4-match series in January, they have benefitted from the recent slip-ups of England and Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan were No.3 in the rankings, but their draw in the first Test against minnows Bangladesh has seen them move down to No.6 after annual updtes while England are now fifth courtesy of their failure to secure a series win against the West Indies.
New Zealand, meanwhile, have risen to No.3 in the rankings, which means that they will go into the upcoming 2-match Test series against England ranked above them.
As far as the top two are concerned, however, there are no changes. South Africa, with 130 rating points, sit comfortably on top.
Australia are second with 108 rating points. Click for see full ratings
