Bowlers, Gayle Punished Delhi Daredevils

New Delhi: After Mitchell Starc (3/20) helped RCB bowled out Delhi Daredevils for 95, Chris Gayle not out 62 and Virat Kohli unbeaten 35 took his team home with 9.3 overs to spare at Feroz Shah Kotla on Sunday.

Delehi were 50 for zero at the end of power play.

Virat Kohli has had very less work to do, since Chris Gayle has got going, finding boundaries at will.

Initially Gayle was cautious against Nathan Coulter-Nile but expressed himself facing Dominic Joseph, taking him for 14 runs in an over.

Earlier, Delhi Daredevils were bowled out for a paltry total of 95 runs as Royal Challengers Bangalore were right on the money, right from the word go.

Kedar Jadhav was the top scorer for DD, scoring 33. Mitchell Starc picked up three for 20. Varun Aaron’s two for 24; taking out Yuvraj Singh and Angelo Mathews was crucial in pegging Delhi back very early.
