Mumbai: Including KP, Karthik and Murli Vijay Delhi Daredevils released as many as 13 players.
The last day of the Indian Premier League transfer window saw a lot of activity with as many as 53 players being released by the eight franchises ahead of the eight edition of the IPL tourney.
While the likes of Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad let go of many players in a bid to reboot their respective teams, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and the finalists Kings XI Punjab released just three players each.
